Well as you probably saw from some of the pics I put on yesterday, I bid Bunbury a fond farewell and headed straight to Margaret River and WINE!!
My fab campsite (Tauntin Farm, Cowaramup!) is so peaceful and clean and just idylic, nestled inbetween a vineyard and a cheese factory, with farm animals and lovely people staying here.
After my little trip to the vineyard next door and my wonderful lunch, takeout in hand I got back to Colin and relaxed in the sunshine and read for a bit before feeding time. Bill old bull, horses, cows, a couple of sheep, goats and ducks all waiting for their nightly ritual, then everyone gathered in the bbq shed and went about getting their tea! It was a really great atomosphere and I joined a lovely young couple from Perth, and Lesley and Christine, 2 of the most lovely ladies who had been here for s couple of nights. We all sat, shared food, wine and stories, fed the jumping ducks and then it was time ti hit the sack, all the wine and excitement making me sleepy! Swapped numbers and addresses with Lesley as she has kindly offered to let me park Colin on her drive on the last 2 nights of my trip here so that I can take in the sights of Perth City. What a star she is and I will take her up on that kind offer!!
Nice sleep needed as off on a day wine tour tomorrow, someone else doing the driving so that I can enjoy the regions best assets and I am sure that after over 1100k Colin will be glad of the rest......!
That should say Taunton Farm but this bloody thing wont let me scroll back up and change it.....grrrrrr!
