A lovely chilled out day in beautiful Adelaide......

What to do today?  Well I settled on a trip to the Adelaide Oval as Australia were thrashing India.  How very civilised and English!  Well to start with, I just rocked up, got parked at the car park right outside the ground, paid my money and got my general admission ticket.  That wouldn't happen back home!

Now to pick the right spot and the place with the most shade seeing as it was going to be 38 degrees today and the cheap seats are on a grassy knoll.  Under the score board seemed a gold option.  Oh and it was!  Kick off was 1030 and I got there bout 0945 so I settled into my spot, under the board in the shade, right next to the bar (free water, unheard of!!) and watched my fellow spectators arrive.

3 Where's Walley's, 2 tennis players, a Drogba, a hot dog, a clown (eeeeeeeeek), 2 morph suits, various other 'outfits' and a camel toe.  Yes, a camel toe!  These Aussie boys were ready for action and were 3 pints in before the play started!  I was actually the only girl on the entire grassy knoll, surrounded by boys up for a fun day at the cricket!!!  Had worse days........!

Good fun they were indeed but at lunch I decided to go for a wander (and the shade had now disappeared) tucked into a lovely curry and settled into my new spot.  The cricket was great and watched the boys get more roudy and one get removed for kicking a beach ball on the pitch (he looked a proper tit as the wind blew it straight back into his face!)

I stayed till just after tea then decided to head into the city and visit the lovely Central Market.  Had coffee and cake at the usual place (hasn't changed in 12 years) and wandered round the stalls.  There were some celebrations for chinese new year in China Town so sat and enjoyed some noodles and soaked up the atmosphere!

Back to the house to watch the tennis, still on now, Murray looking quite handy!!!  Going for lunch tomorrow with the gang to Glenelg and may see it I can fit in another sunset........
