Good morning all, I am up bright and early today as I head off for the airport shortly for my flight to Perth, WA, were my Camper awaits for 16 days! Eeek! I have a name in mind for her but untill I see her I wont know if it is right (you have to name your camper!) I would love to say that I am travelling the West Coast in a vintage V-Dub or a Wicked Camper but I am 40, not 19, and the thought of spending 16 nights sleeping in the back of what is essentially an estate car, fills me with horror! Ive gone for the soft option! Not a Winibago but just a little bit of comfort. I did stop short of the shower and toilet options......
Well I will hopefully encounter some wi-fi along the route and will be in touch soon! Bon voyage!
p.s Fab night at the pics with the gang last night, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Not what I expected (not a Chinese reference in sight) but a really good 2 hours and 40 mins! Thanks ladies xxxx

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.....
Not here though!!! Sometimes it rains in paradise, and it did today, not for long mind you and I was still wearing a vest top and flip flops!! And a skirt before anyone says anything.......
As I am off to Perth on Wednesday for Road Trip No. 2 ( prepare yourselves.....) I am moving out of Theresa and Kevin's beautiful home that they let me use (thank you soooo much) and I am going to be staying at one of the girls here, Sue. So I went round today for my instructions and a wee bit of lunch (finished off with more birthday cake.....well it was a mountain).
We then decided to do a little spur of the moment trip to Hallett Cove, and very lovely it was too! Me , Sue, Ollie and Ella had a wander through the dunes and had a look at Sugar Rock (its a rock that looks like sugar obviously!) and then spent a good hour hunting for pretty pebbles on the beach. And very pretty they were too! Then the unthinkable happened.....it rained!! Quite hard too and so windy it would have your wig off so we all ran for cover at the car. We all sat there watching it come down, just like England but missing the thermos and tupperware. Then, out of nowhere this nutter of s bloke hobbled into the sea. It was a rough as a rough thing so we were quite worried. But off he went, flailing around lime a beached whale but swimming none the less. Well we felt we couldn't really move until we knew that he was actually swimming in a strange manner and not actually drowning! After about 25 mins he managed to drag himself out and hobbled back up the beach! Job done and off we went.
Spent the night booking my campsites for Perth (glad I did, still busy) and then headed off to bed.
Nothing planned for Tuesday, just packing and getting my haircut (eeek, the same person has cut it for the last 15 years and you all know how precious I am about my locks....) then off to the cinema with the gang. Happy days......xx
